Pace is a big consideration as well, these pictures show the controls much more crowded then I saw them on my 90 hour start, riding a 75 hour pace. Espcially Villanes, there were maybe seven to ten riders in the cafeteria when I was on my return trip. This year most of the 84 hour hour riders were dumped on by the rain storm, where I saw no rain at all.
I rode it on my Riv, and it was a GREAT time. I can hardly wait four more years for next time!
