I think most of these really big bikes are made with the longest chainstays available with little or no cutting on them to get them mitred up, but they always look like they are too short. Chainstays are probably the one tube that actually is bike specific tubing on these types of frames. For the most part everything else is 4130 straight gauge aircraft tubing...
