My buddies at work thought, too, that it is a trifle arrogant. With emphasis on 
"trifle", of course. Which is ironic in itself.

But they suggested that to mitigate the arrogance, it'd've been better to have 
the part after "cogito ergo" be in pig latin.

Though of course we couldn't even agree on how to say "I" in pig latin.
