Wondering if the new Foss tubes hold air as good as the Schwalbe tubes plus..... I need to make a good choice for my SimpleOne with the Open Pro rims. I need a 35mm wide tire with excellent puncture resistance and good performance. I don't have room for uber fat tires plus my weight, rim width, fender clearance (for gear changes) requires a 35mm (actual) width. I am thinking the Marathon Supreme in the 700x35 size or the Duremes. I also considered a Green guard Marathon (700x35) due to lower cost but being on a one speed I don't want to ride sluggish tires. Got a flat today using my standard Paselas (a dang staple) but I repaired it in 13 minutes. I like the ride of the Pasela and its a pretty light tire at around 400 grams so I want something similar....just don't want flats. Good thing it happened on the way home rather than to work.
