The first time I did this, I ran the wire (Schmidt coax from Peter White) down the downtube, around the bottom bracket, and inside the fender to the taillight. In theory, a quick-disconnect at the bottom bracket allowed for disassembling the bike without disturbing the wiring; in practice, the disconnect is a source of electrical failures. On the bike I'm assembling now, the wire runs inside the downtube, inside the bottom bracket shell, inside the left chainstay, and then out and up the fender stay to the taillight. This way, the bike can be disassembled without messing with disconnects: the wire stays with the frame. The wire could go outside the tubes, of course; my frame happens to be drilled for the internal routing. --glenn West Chester, PA, USA -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
