Some of you may know I ran into a deal on a pair of 620s (his 'n hers) here
in Chicago. Just finished re-habbing "hers", and have decided to sell -
keeping "his" for now. (It's on the stand, and waiting for my next order
from Rivendell - planning an Albatross 2X7 set-up) ) 56C2C - both seat tube
and top tube. 32 1/4" standover. Everything was disassembled & re-lubed.
Boeshield added wherever possible. New cables, Pasela 27"x 1 1/4" tires,
Christophe straps and Newbaum's bar tape. (Note the black hemp twine!) Tried
to make it as original as possible, and it's matches the '84 catalog listing
on vintagetrek.com pretty much dead-on. Will include the original
reflectors. Frame has no dents or dings, just the usual assortment of nicks
and scratches. Saddle is for the photo only, but I'll include an Avocet
gel-flex in it's place. (A little worn, but with an Aardvark cover you're
good to go.) I call this a "level 1" restoration as I did not get into every
nook and cranny with a toothbrush and simichrome. (That would be level 2.
Level three calls for NOS parts.) It's ready to ride! Offering it to the
group first. (Also posted on iBob) Make me a reasonable offer given the
quality, rarity and originality. Shipping at cost, or you can pick it up in
Chicago.
