That is a beautiful build of a beautiful bike. Do things literally leap from
the path of that E3's beam?

Pretty as I find the "stock" Hillbornes, they *do* look better with a
contrast-y head tube.

Regarding your bags, however...

Until now I had completely gotten over the fact that I no longer have a
SaddleSack Large.

I mean, my SaddleSack Medium is the right bag for me anyhow. It has lots of
room. It has side pockets I can reach while in the saddle.

It is nice to carry by my Nitto bag grip. It is more balanced than the
SaddleSack Large.

But...

I did always put my phone in one of the rider-facing pockets. I did always
keep a balaclava in the other.

I do *sometimes* have to stuff and force-pack my Medium with a book. lunch,
clothes, shoes, and laptop.

On weekends with the Large I could just toss my cooking or coffee gear into
its massive maw without having to shuffle or re-organize anything.

And it wasn't *that* hard to carry for my brief walk to the office....

Thanks, Zack. Thanks a lot. :)
