I'm sure there were more somewhere but I saw only one Riv on RAGBRAI and it wasn't mine. It was a nice Ram being ridden well.
Up called out as he passed, mentioned my QB, got a knowing look and a wave and he was gone into the distance. I didn' t bring my QB because of the cost of travel from Hawaii and because I wasn't up to 20000+ feet of climbing of on a single speed, though some seemed to be. It most a great time, even if it was mostly brutally hot. Still I'm glad to be on my way home.
