Gernot, visiting from Thailand, wanted to buy my H-bars, so we met at
RBW Thursday and went for a little ride in the Mt. Diablo foothills.
We saw Esteban at RBW; he was there to buy some parts but didn't have
time to join us. Esteban had his VeloCult Nobilette Demountable
Randonneur, a very sweet looking bike.

List member Joe Bunik joined us for the ride. Gernot borrowed a Hunq,
I rode my Quickbeam, and Joe rode one of his Miyatas that is set up
with cross tires and dirt drop bars. The weather was warm but not too
hot, and I think Gernot got a good taste of the Diablo area. Joe and I
were both playing hooky from work and had to limit the ride time, but
plenty of fun was still had. On our return, we stopped at Joe's garage
so Gernot could buy some more parts to take back to Thailand.
Apparently riv/bob-ish parts are not readily available there. Here are
a few crappy pics from my Blackberry, including one where I was
wishing I brought more gears:
