I'm sure many in this group don't regularly ride in cycling specific clothing. For those who do, I'd like to recommend one manufacturer that I've recently found. It's Aero Tech Designs, who make their apparel in the U.S. at very attractive prices.
I'd received a recommendation for their bibshorts from a list member of another group who is a very active cyclist and purveyor of cycling t-shirts and catalog reprints. He had used many more expensive bibshorts (e.g. Assos) but now uses the Aero Tech bibshorts. I bought a set several months back and I really like them a lot. They're attractively priced ($59.95) and have an Italian "chamois" pad while being made in the U.S. Their website also has basic wick style cycling jerseys, in solid colors with three back pockets, for the munificent sum of $25!
