My point of view is ...that for a camping/heavy touring bike the double top tube seems OK, if it's the triangulated version like on the Hunqua. The parallel version is not attractive to me. (and I'm not fond of the larger upslope either). For anything less than that it's just extra weight... on any bike less than ~64cm. I'm over 40 so I even use that phrase once in a while. ~mike
