It was an ironic year for the PSR: * As I said, 0 Riv's. * This year's route did away with the 'country-tire pass filter' at the start of the route and what shows-up, but a half-dozen college- aged hipsters on tarck bikes... we still dropped 'em, but it was over the second half of the ride instead of the start. Hmm, maybe someone should have warned them. But, really, isn't Petersen-Style warning enough? * Ride leader pinch-flatted For all those hanging on the HS thread, you should have been on the PSR. HS thread content that happened on the PSR first: * a Pedersen * a railroad shirt * a 1x8 commuter (technically a 2x9, but due to no front derailer and a too small chain it's a 1x8 -- 46t in front, a gratuitous 11x34t in back. Let me say, for commuting a 1x8 is plenty. Heck, I only use 7 of the available 8 90% of the time. In that regard, a 1x7 is plenty. But then again we knew that, right? As for a Hammerschmidt x IGH, huh? Got money burning a whole in your pocket or something? I have to ask, what problem is being solved?)
