The VO cages are nice-looking, but I wonder if the Nittos might be sturdier and so well worth the extra cost. (Haven't had one to compare.) I had a weld separate on one of my VO cages after a month or so of riding. I had to periodically squeeze it a bit to keep the Kleen Kanteen 27-oz bottle from rattling, so that could have over-stressed it, or it could have been a QC issue. Sent it back, it was graciously replaced, and the replacement has held up so far.
