oh and no, i didn't have the wheels already. called up Phil Wood right after i put the frame deposit down, and ordered these.
even with a delay in getting silver colored rims from Velocity, Phil got me the wheels pretty quickly, and they arrived on thursday with the frame arriving friday. that's why i figured i was fated to build it up today :) best, andrew On May 28, 2011, at 3:49 PM, andrew hill wrote: > just added two more pics to the directory: > http://salamander.net/stage/SimpleOne/ > > the ones with numeric names are sans-flash. > > the first pic shows the wheels - velocity fusion laced to Phil Wood > free/free. > have some Marathon Racers in 35C for em, too. > > it's a 58cm. > > if i i might solicit some advice? this is my first single-speed.. anyone > have pointers about chain length? i was going to just put the axle about > half-way down the dropouts and adjust the brakes and chain length to that.. > any reason not to? > > best, > andrew > > On May 28, 2011, at 3:41 PM, jandrews_nyc wrote: > >> Do you have a pic taken without the flash to better illustrate the >> color? >> >> it looks great, >> what size is that? >> did you have the wheels already? >> >> -- >> You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups >> "RBW Owners Bunch" group. >> To post to this group, send email to rbw-owners-bunch@googlegroups.com. >> To unsubscribe from this group, send email to >> rbw-owners-bunch+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. >> For more options, visit this group at >> http://groups.google.com/group/rbw-owners-bunch?hl=en. >> > -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
