Folks tend to love or hate them, hence a vibrant re-sell market for them :-) Get a stem 1 or 2 cm shorter if you're going to try them. I liked them a lot, but missed the extra change of posture a drop bar gives you during long rides (>30miles). There is also On-One Midge/Soma Junebug that have shallower drops. Those are love/hate as well, so YMM(definitely)V.
