I have used both tires on my Rambouilet. The Marathon is definitely the more puncture resistant tire. I've had only one flat on those tires and that was the result of an unlucky encounter with a roofing nail. The Ruffy feels a little more lively but not nearly as springy as the Grand Bois tires. Of course, with those I've had a fair number of punctures from glass and steel belt wire. Life is full of trade- offs. GeorgeS
