Members of my club have on occasion asked me about my man. They seemed quite puzzled by the fact that he doesn't really ride. I guess we do sort of break the stereotype. When I was younger and a little less secure about my relationship, I called my then "boyfriend" my "partner". Some people thought I was gay. I have never liked the terms "boyfriend" and "girlfriend" when speaking about your "partner" but don't mind using them for friends of either gender. I like Co- Habitant.
