I don't think that length would be a problem without an additional stay. I've got a few fendered bikes, Honjo and Berthoud, and most look about that length or slightly longer and they are pretty solid without support. I did put some looooong Honjos on my Paramount.... http://www.flickr.com/photos/77502424@N00/4482402511/in/set-72057594068748083/ and there was a definite wobble. Looked cool but I didn't want to add an additional stay or rack so I took them off. Any interesest in a slightly used set of long Honjos? I'm thinking those Longboards might be a good replacement. They kind of look like an updated Bluemels...a good thing. Rob
