That is gorgeous. Have you tried threading a bar through there yet? I love wide clamps, but sometimes you have a hard time getting bars through them. I'd hate to think of that beauty being spread to get a bend through.
Does the knurled top cap do something? I've seen Herse builds where that is a light switch. Did he make the top cap? Or is that a standard part?
