I noticed a green tweed country bag on ebay recently, and it got me wondering
if it was one of the ones that Rivendell was blowing out at the garage sale
back in October of 2010. In case you don't know, at the garage sale, Rivendell
had a lot of country bags (maybe from a first run or something) with the dowel
in the wrong place, which makes the bag not hang on the bike the normal way.
They were perfectly functional bags, but not up to Rivendell's aesthetic
standards, so they were blowing them out for a really low price, I think like
$30 or maybe even $25. I don't think they ever put these "alternative-dowel
placement" bags on sale anywhere but at the garage sale for that very low price.

If you see a green tweed country bag for sale somewhere, you might want to ask
the seller if the bag for sale was one of these that I'm talking about. A
profile shot of how it sits on a Brooks might be useful, because it does sit
differently than the usual country bag does.
