Very nice photos, Jim! I noticed that your Carradice Pendle saddlebag is black with honey leather straps. I don't believe that this is a standard model of the Pendle (it doesn't appear on the manufacturer's website).
I have one exactly the same that I purchased from Todd Kuzma when he was producing the Heron bicycles. He negotiated with Carradice to obtain a Pendle saddlebag that would match the color of the Berthoud handlebar bags with which his randonneur model of the Heron was equipped. Where did you obtain your Carradice Pendle? (Just curious...)
