William, congrats on the brevet. Sounds like a good time. I know that
route and have ridden variations of it multiple times. I hope someday
to make it down there for a brevet with SFR. I hope you'll consider
doing a full Super Randonneur series (200, 300, 400 and 600k). As hard
as it can be I assure you it's, overall, a great experience.

My first brevet of the year will be the Birkie 200k in March. This
will be my 4th time riding it. The first time I did it it rained for
every single kilometer of the ride. The second time it rained for most
of the ride. Last year it was gorgeous and I was able to finish in
just under 8hrs. This year... who knows what the weather will do or
how I'll choose to ride it. If my rando bike is finished and together
I'll ride that but if not I may ride the QB. There's really only one
climb so it's doable on the QB. If I ride the Hilsen I may opt to do
it in platform pedals. I did a 200k last year like that and it wasn't
so bad. We'll see.

Anyway, congrats on the brevet William. I'm at work so I can't view
the pictures but I'll check them out when I'm back home tonight.
Thanks for posting your report and link to the pictures on the list.
