Thanks to everyone who forwarded links to the flickr groups! I'm going to aggregate them this week, but in the meantime - if you are the person who administers any of the particular flickr groups, you might go back and give it an "official" name. It's pretty straight forward for the person who administers the group, once you log in and go to the group admin tab/link. The benefit is that the link will no longer have the "@" symbol in the url. In some people's email, that will render oddly, invalidating the link.
