Bowing to pressure, I now have fenders on the Roadeo, ensuring that not a drop of rain will fall on me. And I'm happy. I can stop worrying (not that I was very worried, I ride a lot so I know I'll be fine) and look forward to the fun of the ride. The bike shop tried to sell me those imitation fenders.
