There have been several significant discussions of shimmy on the iBob list reasonably recently and over the years. Ride buddy JimG has also documented his shimmy experiences and expermenting/troubleshooting with a non-Rivendell bicycle via his blog (which can be found via http://yojimg.net/bike ) There are certainly variables he found to damp or reduce speed-specific oscillations. http://sfcyclotouring.blogspot.com/search?q=shimmy And just to mention too, that a general discussion of BQ articles is probably best discussed on a more general list. - Jim -- Jim Edgar cyclofi...@earthlink.net Cyclofiend Bicycle Photo Galleries - http://www.cyclofiend.com Current Classics - Cross Bikes Singlespeed - Working Bikes Gallery updates now appear here - http://cyclofiend.blogspot.com "Then I sat up, wiped the water out of my eyes, and looked at my bike, and just like that I knew it was dead" -- Robert McCammon, "Boy's Life" -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
