Great that you fished something positive out of a tumble.  Glad you're
OK.

The other day I was riding up Montezuma Rd toward SDSU, which is not
steep, but generally no fun.  There was a fellow on a loaded LHT who
was riding way ahead of me, and by the time I caught him, he was
walking his rig. As I passed him, I asked - "you OK?  Got what you
need?"  And the glare from him could have gone through steel.  As I
passed, I realized he was just tired.

Surly, indeed.
