Hey all, thanks for the advice, I may order some of those custom gloves from henrysshoerepair which look good for most of what I was talking about. I, in general, have cold hands that will start getting cold and hurting around 40 degrees, so last winter when I was biking in the teens I would often have two gloves and all of my fingers tucked in (not the safest for braking!). We'll see about this winter!
