I once wore most of the rubber off of a Ruffy Tuffy. It started it's life on the front and moved to the back. As Ann stated if you have fenders you don't look at your tires. I happened to turn my bike over and was shocked to see the rubber worn away down to the casing, in a number of spots. So I would think the average customer that Grant has wears out their tires more, because many of them use fenders.
