Thanks, Harry, and all who have responded -- I pulled the trigger on a pair of the Swift Mini Stack Panniers last night in waxed canvas. Looking forward to using them. What I like about them vs. the V-Brand set sold by RBW (Riv-content for the thread) is that they are not joined together as one unit. I can use one or both, depending on the load. I also like the Swift use of an interior "neck" with two draw cords (similar in design to the Acorn bags). That will keep the contents dry AND/or dust free when over stuffed. I also really like the accessible exterior pocket on the side and in the lid. The bag is just the right size for my typical commuter loads. Lastly, the company is cottage sized, the bags MUSA all the way, and other list members like them. All good enough for me!
Oh, and I also dropped an order yesterday to RBW for a couple of more V-Brand bags (I really like the V-Brand stuff a lot) and another pair of MUSA pants (also among my fav's). Life is good on two wheels.
