Here's what Greg from Bicycle Classics/Heron told me in an email in August "I hope to have Herons for sale early next year, but it seems to be taking much longer than I anticipated to get things going again.
They will be USA-built, lugged, non-oversized, Reynolds steel, silver- brazed. Pricing is still very TBD, but the old ones were about $1300 when they stopped making them, and the new ones will be (in my opinion, at least) a lot nicer, with lots of standard features, and hopefully priced under $1800 for a frame and fork."
