While I certainly would not advise buying a new Campy crank, you can
get NOS Veloce and Centaur cranks on eBay for a song.  Peter White
sells a full line of Campy compatible TA chainrings - which in my
opinion anyway are - the best on the market.

On a recent project I set up the bike with a shiny Veloce and 49-39-27
chainrings for under $200.
