I recently tried M-bars on my noodle-equipped monstercross using the
same stem (which fits well with noodles), and found that for the M-
bars the stem is too long and/or low. The position in the hooks is
nice, but like Patrick I miss having a more relaxed top of the bar
position, which makes my back hurt after a while. Switched them out
for VO Porteur bars, and now the reach is great for around town, but
too short for climbing out of the saddle. Noodles remain my favorites,
though perhaps it is just a question of the right stem...
