I stopped by HQ today and test rode this bike. It was so great that I
signed up to buy it on the spot. It is a bit of a franken-bike:
according to Jay the frame is Toyo, the fork is Waterford Homer, and
the second top tube is brazed (no lugs-Mikkelson?). Also, the brake
bridge was moved a bit to afford more clearance (can't remember if the
chainstay bridge was also). The bike looked so much better in person
than it did on the photos, I hope I can capture some of that when I
take photos. It also rode like a dream, didn't feel sluggish at all
and handled like my (now old) Rambouillet. Being able to fit 37's
makes a real difference.

I'll post some pics when I take delivery next week. It's funny, as I
just got my other Rambouillet back from Riv after having the rear
dropout repaired. I'll likely sell that frame; it's a 64 too (and
painted a beautiful Olive green) in case anyone wants to pursue that
further. I'll post that separately soon.
