After a two month wait I finally had the pleasure to go to RBW to get the 58 Betty Foy that is officially intended for my daughters to ride with me on cycling adventures and S24Os and unofficially for me to ride whenever I want to.
This means I may end up getting rid of the Electra Townie I originally bought for my wife as she is too scared of riding it and none of my daughters enjoy either. It's still a good bike for my youngest daughter to take to school when she can't have my car and has exhausted all other options. She enjoys riding every now and then, but since she got her driver's license riding a bike to school seems to be beneath her dignity... ;-) Still, she's a good prospect for an S24O and I'm really hoping the Betty's style and soul will help open her eyes to the wonders of regular riding. Will be posting photos in a couple of days as soon as I build it after work. I am pretty satisfied with my Rivendell trio, Betty, Homer and Atlantis!
