My bias is that the width of your bar has more to do with your shoulder
width than anything else. I like to have it set up so that my arms are
facing parallel to the top tube when in the drops, which lets me have the
same position with my hands on the upper bend or on the hoods.  With fairly
wide shoulders, I am pretty comfortable with the wider bars.

I _think_ I'm running the 46's - which is what I get CTC at the curve, as
per the RBW site.
