how big a hill? perhaps it's possible that she's still more aero
(even with a non-aero set-up) than you are, especially if you're a big
guy, with the bars way up and wearing baggy clothes? this might be
enough to overcome your downhill weight advantage on shorter/less
steep hills. could also be tires/tire pressure. could be wheel
bearings. could be. . . anyway, there's no cheating science. on a
big enough hill, you'll eventually be going faster unless you fasten a
sail to your bike.

this reminds of an article in the most recent BQ - the Madone review.
the bike tester didn't descend as fast as he usually does (based on
the observation that another rider/tester was keeping up on a downhill
stretch) and came to the conclusion that the Madone was no more
aerodynamic than his usual bike.

seems possible that the Madone was a lighter bike than the tester's
usual bike, and therefore didn't descend as quickly. or that the
tester didn't have the opportunity to dial-in an aero fit on the
Madone test bike, and therefore didn't descend as quickly.

in any event, I found it interesting that a bike tester or editor of
BQ didn't say, "hey, we've tested a bunch of stuff in a wind tunnel
before - fenders, bags, clothing, fairings, etc. - why don't we see if
we can test the Madone next to some other bikes and see if there's any
difference before publishing a conclusion based on a one-off
observation."
