No skin off my nose what anyone choses to buy. All my multi-speed bikes have 6 -7 speed freewheels. All of them have new model TA cranks up front with TA rings. Chains are all Wipperman, I believe 8 speed. Derailleurs are Campy front, Campy or Shimano rear. Shifters are Simplex Retrofriction. I have not had a problem shifting.
