As Jim said, go to Rainy Pass. <http://rainypass.com/> They've done a LOT of stuff for me over the years, including customizing a motorcycle tank bag, adding heavy duty zippers to m/c pants, repairing those pants later (:(), and repairing a down sleeping bag a couple times. You have to be specific about what you want if you're doing something out of the ordinary--I wouldn't say they are "designers", particularly.
