I just bought a roll of this stuff called "Rescue Tape". It's a silicone elastick-y thing about an inch wide in a number of colors. I got it to dress the ends of some computer cabling snakes, but after using it for that, it seems like there would be a myriad of other applicatons. It can be used like heat-shrink tubing, without the heat. Basically, you wind it around itself and it binds to itself after a few minutes. You can put it under significant pressure when you wrap. It's supposed to be water/chemical/etc proof once it binds. You cannot unwrap it once fused - you've got to cut it off. It doesn't bind to the suface it's wrapped around. Anyway, you might look for some (~$10 per roll). It won't leave adhesive residue like duct or electrical tape, but with a few turns, it will definitely silence a rattle. hope that helps, - Jim -- Jim Edgar cyclofi...@earthlink.net Cyclofiend Bicycle Photo Galleries - http://www.cyclofiend.com Current Classics - Cross Bikes Singlespeed - Working Bikes Gallery updates now appear here - http://cyclofiend.blogspot.com "'You both ride your bike?'
