Took the wife and kiddo up to the mountains this weekend for some camping and outdoor fun. Weather was a nice break from the 90+ going on in Denver. Got a beautiful rain on Saturday that I decided to go riding in. The foot trails that line the river behind our cabin are layered with pine needles and ride very soft and silent. My favorite time to weave through them is during a light rain.
Had the XO-3 with me this weekend, shod with 26x1.5 semi slicks. Ran great. Wish I would have wrapped the bars before...they get slick in the rain. Fun anyway. We had a good group of 15-20 plus kids over the 3 days. I built driftwood boats with the kids and had races. We made shiny mud balls. Cooked over the fire pit all weekend. Took my Trangia stove and made coffee trail side. Took a morning dip in the icy run off water to start the day. Even pulled my Rockmount cowboy shirt off the hook for the evening. Decided to bring it home. I hope everyone had a great weekend. Outside is king. fotos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/42027...@n00/sets/72157624581811352/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
