As you may or may not know-
The key is to raise a couple of fingers in greeting to EVERYONE you
pass weather you know them or not.
They in turn will have to return the gesture-in case they know your
"people".
If you must speak- especially to young men- start with the phrase
"What you know?" or "What you say?" ( as a greeting- not a question).
"Sir" and "Mame" are also important with business owners and anyone
even slightly your senior.
This is etiquette technique for all Appalachian areas.
As far as the knickers go.................. be prepared to improvise.
