The polished is quite bright is the same on all Velocity rims and it 
doesn't necessarily show up well in photos because it's so reflective. Such 
is shiny polished aluminum ! Circles has all the colors available to see on

If you're using other polished parts then the polished rims will go well 
with them, but it's not like the satin finished version would look out of 
place. Do you mind periodically polishing your rims ? It doesn't take that 
long and wouldn't need to be done often, just depends on you. If you want 
labor free rims then forget the polished, but hah hah, it's not like rims 
don't get oil and whatever on them that require wiping anyway !
