Hello, Not sure if this helps but I'm running one o' them newish New Albion 46-26 triples (which i believe is the XD2 cast?). OP didn't mention whether or not they're running friction. I'm running Silver shifters and using a mid-90s Shimano STX 3x front derailleur, and it shifts very smoothly.
