I recently installed the new B&M IQ XL on my dirt road bike, which they
claim to provide the most light in the business (300 lux with traffic beam,
250 lux “high” and not cut-off beam) as a replacement for a K-Lite that
died, but I’ve not yet ridden it when it was fully dark. ll report when I
do. Meanwhile, if others have tested in in the dark, what did you find?

I’d prefer the XL if it didn’t automatically default in daylight to a
relatively low power/low drag daytime running light but the light does have
a remote control switch.
