Selling my 59cm A. Homer Hilsen. I've had it for two years, and I am the second owner. The first owner told me it was from the first run at Waterford. Not really doubting that fellow, but I wouldn't know how to verify that empirically. That never mattered to me that much. The cutouts on the side of the fork crown are more like that of the Rambouillet, which I think was true for some early models.
Bunch of pics here: http://gallery.me.com/ftmeyer#100087 Nothing at all wrong with this bike -- never crashed, no dents, bends, or terrible scrapes. Normal wear and tear, a couple very minor paint chips here and there. In fact I really liked this bike a whole bunch and maybe shouldn't be selling it, but I allow myself two bikes at any one time, and now I have a Sam Hillborne and a Rivendell LongLow, so Homer must find a new home. Looking for $2,000 for the complete bike, and that includes shipping in CONUSA. Some specs below, but not exhaustive. Happy to try to answer any/all questions off-list from those interested. Wheels: Built by Jim at Hiawatha Cyclery -- 32-hole Salsa Delgado rims, Shimano Deore LX hubs. Tires: Specialized Armadillo 28s on there now, but I also will include a pair of Schwalbe Marathon XR 37s. The Tektro equivalent to the Silver long-reach brakes. Suntour power ratchet bar-end shifters. Nitto "frog" two-bolt seatpost. Well-broken-in Brooks B-17 honey Champion Special saddle (included the water-resistant "bonnet" for it).
