I'd not heard of this rack until now. I can't figure, from the photos, how 
one would mount it to cantilever studs; the holes on the stays point the 
wrong direction.

As I originated this thread, I should say that I never followed through on 
an attempt to install a rack on Paul cantis. For various reasons I decided 
the bike in question, a mid-1990s (I think) AR of which I am the third (I 
think) owner, didn't really need to have a handlebar bag.
