I bought one way back when for my Bombadil. At that time, it was about the same price, -BUT- Riv had them unpainted as an option and offered to paint it for no extra charge. I went that route and wanted it to match my Orange Bombadil. They got sort of close, but not really, and it became sort of an endearing joke, at least to me. When I sold my Bombadil, the buyer didn't want the mediocre match, and so it has appeared on a number of builds in my stable, including an Atlantis and a Rosco Mountain Step-Through. Now I offer it here. Everything used but mechanically good as new should be half-retail, so it's half retail. $120 plus shipping. If you've got a re-paint planned, maybe throw this stem at your painter and have them color-match the lugged stem to your lugged Rivendell.
