It seems that several of us who ride Rivs, also head to Iowa for RAGBRAI in
July. Maybe it is a good idea to start a new thread...questions and
answers for those who might consider the ride on their Riv's, whether for
the whole week, or maybe the half week option. Or we can continue on this
thread. I'm happy to answer questions.
For example, YES you can arrange for Hotels (you've got to be on top of
making reservations as soon as the route is announced), but you need to
account for getting there and back each day...maybe as part of a team with
driver, or your own personal SAG companion.
Julian, I was fortunate to run into you at the final day tire dip on one
of your RAGBRAI's. I believe you had/have a beautiful Atlantis(?) and I
had just ordered mine!
