For bearings in bicycles, where the speeds are low and the load per ball is 
high, greases with solid lubricants such as MoS₂ (molybdenum disulphide) 
provide better protection for the bearing than those without. I use a 
Penrite grease that has 3% MoS₂, but that's an Australian product, and I 
don't know if it's available elsewhere.
