Hey John, Yeah we took the Palouse-Cascades trail for the most part! We headed north to Spokane around Revere, WA and eventually linked up with the Columbia Plateau Trail. The trail was awesome, but could get gnarly for long stretches with the track ballast. A few times we took the neighboring roads to get a break from swimming upstream, but there are sections where it's unavoidable. The heat had us getting up early to get miles done before the hottest points of the day. It made for some great views of the morning light on the golden rolling hills!
